Greylag Geese

Greylag Geese enjoying a family outing, swimming, relaxing, survaying the scene, vocalising with each other and having the time of their lives meandering around the waters edge.

  9. Beautiful series of photos! I always like geese with bright orange legs and feet. These look very similar to the Greater White-fronted Geese that I see here in Alaska.

  11. Nice shots but I hate when those geese start to chase me:-). You live in such a wonderful place and I liked your post on Adare Manor.

  17. Those are very beautiful geese, I have never seen them before. We have the Canada Geese here in abundance. They are still huntable, but they have proliferated over the last few years and are becoming nuisances. You can't hardly walk through any of our parks for all of the "goose poop". Very distasteful.
I hope yours are not considered a nuisance.
