Grey Heron Visit
No doubt, he was enjoying his frog meal as he was back again in no time, so I managed to get a better photo of him on the ivy clad wall.

I would be thrilled to look out and see a Heron, I have seen them fly over, but none have ever landed. Our water feature is too small to lure them and the creek is over the hill.
ReplyDeleteHow blessed you are to be able to look out and see a Heron......I can't imagine anything more beautiful.......:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and interesting visitor in your garden. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to look out and see a heron, and I'm so glad you managed to get such lovely photos of him. Your garden looks delightful. I would love to sit a spell in those chairs.

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing thing to see in one's own yard! So glad you were able to capture these photos.
ReplyDeleteYour comment on my Blue Monday post gave me a great laugh. Yes, it is VERY drab here, so I guess I conveyed my point well. Thanks for the smiles! =D
Great photos Ann and a beautiful garden too!
ReplyDeleteHi, Ann!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you came to visit on my blog because it led me to yours! I enjoyed perusing it, and I loved your heron shots. I also love your garden.
I've been MIA and will be MIA again the next two weeks, but I would love to come back and visit when I return. Enjoyed my visit here.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Oh, and Erin Go Braugh! :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice surprise visitor. Amusing shot of him with the lawn ornament heron.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping if I purchased an ornamental heron that it would keep them from coming into my garden - but seemingly not! A heron came visiting last week and cleaned out my pond of 11 fish which were growing quite nicely, I am so shocked and disappointed, even though the heron visiting was a lovely sight. Any other suggestions of protecting my pond if I decide to refill it??
